Visiting Battle Creek for the
first time? If you are coming from the east or west on I-94
to M-66, be sure to take the downtown Battle Creek exit
going north, not south. An
error with several online map services,
including MapQuest, Yahoo Maps and Google Maps, has sent
drivers south on M66 instead of north. The signs are marked
well so be sure to follow them as you get close. The
following link will show you where we are:

Battle
Creek residents now have
a free, convenient
solution for responsibly
recycling compact fluorescent lamps
(CFLs) and batteries
right from their home, thanks to a new program the City of
Battle Creek launched April 21. “Battle Creek is the first
city in Michigan to provide residents with this important
and innovative service, making our community greener,” said
Battle Creek Mayor Mark Behnke. “This program brings
recycling right into local homes; it can’t get any easier
than that.”
