Overview
Human Resources is
responsible for recruitment, selection, and placement of qualified applicants;
wage and salary administration; employee benefit administration; employee
training and development; and policy development and administration.
The Human Resource staff
values integrity, ethics, professionalism, quality customer service, and
teamwork. Our team of highly dedicated professionals cares about our employees
and retirees, and we currently provide assistance to approximately 600 full time
employees, 200 seasonal part time employees, and well over 200 retirees.
Our mission is to provide
courteous customer services to our citizen customers and departments in a timely
fashion. Through our efforts, we hope to recruit, develop and retain
highly qualified individuals who will contribute toward a higher quality of life
for the citizens of Battle Creek.
