Overview

Battle Creek Transit is responsible for providing public transit services to Battle Creek area residents. Regular route bus service is provided throughout the City of Battle Creek, with limited stops in the City of Springfield, and the Townships of Bedford, Emmett, and Pennfield on weekdays from 5:15am - 6:45pm and on Saturdays from 9:15am - 5:15pm.

No service is provided on Sunday.

Battle Creek Transit also provides door-to-door, dial-a-ride services for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, as well as for workers going to their jobs. Known as "Tele-Transit ", this service operates on weekdays from 5:15am - 11:30pm, and on Saturdays from 9:15am - 4:30pm.

Route, schedule, and fare information is available by calling 269-966-3474 (Voice/TDD). Please be ready with the following information:

Where you want to begin your trip.
Where you want to go.
What time you want to arrive.
Tell the operator if you plan to ride on a weekday or Saturday, as schedules vary.

Be ready to write down the information given to you.
